I am very proud to welcome you to the Hernhill Church of England Primary School website. Here you will find out about all of the wonderful things that happen in our school. Whether you are an existing member of the Hernhill community, a prospective parent or just an interested visitor we hope you find our website interesting and informative.

We want our children to experience life in all its fullness. Our school's Christian vision starts with the four most important words - all are welcome here. Jesus teaches all of us to ‘Treat others as you wish to be treated’ (Luke 6:31) and our special ‘People Rule’ is an outworking of this. This applies to all relationships in our school and underpins everything we do, all policies and procedures.

Hernhill is a one form entry Church of England primary school with classes from Reception through to Year 6. We are incredibly lucky to have a fabulous school building (built in 2004 to replace the Victorian site) set in beautiful grounds. The view from our playground over the Kent countryside is quite spectacular! And our playground is integral to our school as we believe exceptional play opportunities for every child every day is an essential part of primary school life. 

Prospective parents are warmly invited to visit our school and see first-hand what the community is likely to feel like for their child.  We hold regular open mornings and afternoons for prospective parents to visit. Please telephone 01227 751322 or email the office to arrange a visit.
