Admission to Reception in September 2026

We are holding a number of tours over the coming months where the headteacher will speak and then show you around. We would love to welcome you on one of these dates so we can show you around our fabulous school. The tours last around an hour.

Places must be booked in advance.

 In-Year Admissions

If your child is already at primary school and you wish to move them to Hernhill, you need to apply for an in-year admission place.

You are invited to ring us to arrange an after school visit. If you decide you would like a place in a year group for your child, you will need to complete the In-Year application form and return it to us.

There is no guarantee that we will be able to offer your child a place. You should not remove your child from their current school before you have an offer of a place at another school. There is more information on in-year admissions on the KCC website (click here).
